- For the equipment in Call of Duty: Black Ops, see Camera Spike.
The Camera is a piece of equipment in Call of Duty: Ghosts , Call of Duty: WWII and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It was also cut from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
The camera was scrapped along with the level "Descent". The objectives reveal the player is tasked with photographing several times in the level. The weapon is available in 5FOV, 10FOV, 20FOV, 30FOV, and 45FOV versions. However, the model files for the camera are missing. The only known controls are that the reload button would zoom in, and that the shoot button would take a picture.
Call of Duty: Ghosts
- "Logan, get your eyes patched in. Hesh, you too."
- — Thomas A. Merrick in "End of the Line"
The camera appears in Call of Duty: Ghosts. It is seen on Riley's harness in "No Man's Land", where it can zoom in and out, and is used as the interface to control Riley. Enemies are highlighted with a white border. It is used to see Rorke interrogating Ajax.
It is also used in the level "End of the Line", where it is used to record the production of the Federation's kinetic-rod delivery system for LOKI Space Station. There is a compass on the top of the camera.
It is seen again in the mission "Atlas Falls". It is used at the very beginning of the level, where it stuck through a hole in the ice to watch Federation activity. It is pulled back under and the handheld device is put away.
